Questions, answered plainly
Frequently asked questions
Is this a licence or professional classification?
No. Evinca Honors are independent recognitions of documented contribution. They are not a licence, professional classification, clinical certification or accreditation.
Does paying buy an honor?
No. The fee pays for independent review and is charged whatever the outcome. A Spotlight Story is free, and every fee is published in advance. Selected honorees never pay for their recognition, and editorial space is never for sale.
Can I put the honor next to my name?
Yes, with the year and a link to the public record, for example “2026 Evinca Honoree — Patient Safety & Quality”. Never as letters after your name.
Can a record change after it is issued?
Yes. Records can be corrected, expire or be revoked. The status history stays public.
Who can apply?
Healthcare professionals and teams anywhere in the world: physicians, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, allied health, quality and safety leaders, educators, managers and community health workers.
Can I nominate a colleague, or nominate myself?
Both. You can submit a dossier about your own documented work, or a colleague, manager or institution can nominate you. Either way, the evidence is what is judged.
How can an employer verify an honor?
Every honor has a public record with its status, date, category and evidence summary. Enter the record ID on the Verify page or scan the QR code on the certificate.
Where should I list it on LinkedIn?
Under Honors & awards, with the year and a link to your public record. Not under Licenses & certifications: it is not a licence or certification.
Are the people on this site real?
The people shown in this preview edition are illustrative and marked “Illustrative”. Records created through accounts are real and appear in the live gallery.
