Reviewer code of conduct
Last updated 12 October 2026
Reviewers are the reason an Evinca recognition means something. Every reviewer agrees to this code before opening a file.
Independence
Declare any conflict of interest before reading a file: your employer, close colleagues, business partners, family or anyone you have a personal stake in. If in doubt, declare it and step aside.
The founder is recused from his own projects, employers, business partners and close associates.
Fair assessment
Score only against the published rubric and the evidence provided, not against reputation, nationality, profession or how the application is written.
Flag any integrity concern, such as unverifiable claims or patient-identifying information, instead of scoring around it.
Confidentiality
Applications, evidence, scores and discussions are confidential. Do not copy, share or keep them after the review, and do not contact applicants or their colleagues directly.
Conduct
Do not accept gifts or favours connected to a review. Breaches of this code end a reviewer's participation and may lead to affected decisions being re-reviewed.
