Evinca Project Honors
Recognition for the teams behind better care.
Improvement is team work. Project Honors recognise a finished improvement project, judged on its evidence by independent reviewers, with every contributor named on a public record your hospital can share.
Who can apply
Hospital and primary care teams, departments, health clusters, universities and community health programmes, in any country. A project has one lead contact and up to eight named members.
- The change is in place, with at least six months of results after it started.
- There is a baseline measured before the change, and the result is measured the same way.
- The organisation confirms the facts (a department head or quality office).
- No patient-identifiable information anywhere in the dossier or its evidence.
- Any quality-improvement or ethics registration your organisation requires is in place.
Categories
Projects apply in Patient Safety & Quality, Healthcare Education or Healthcare Leadership. Categories for patient experience, digital health and sustainable healthcare open once each has a tested rubric and a qualified panel.
What a project record shows
A fictional example of the public summary, approved by the team before publication:

- Result
- Median 41 minutes over the next 9 months, measured with the same audit tool (140 cases)
- Limits

- Confirmed by
- Head of emergency medicine and the hospital quality office
Each member receives a certificate and badge; the record has a QR code and an “adopt this project” contact for other hospitals.
How it is judged
The same way as individual dossiers: eligibility and integrity checks, then two independent reviewers score it against the published rubric, with adjudication when they disagree. Written feedback is given whatever the outcome. Institution staff never judge their own projects.
Fees
Cohort 1 (pilot) includes eight free project places, by invitation. From Cohort 2 (first paid cohort), a project dossier costs US$499 worldwide, or US$250 on request in lower-income countries. Institution plans include project seats. See all fees.
How a project may describe its honor
Allowed
- “2027 Evinca Honored Project — Patient Safety & Quality”, with the record link
- Naming the team members and the department on the record
- Sharing the record in reports, posters and social media
Not allowed
- “Accredited”, “certified”, “centre of excellence” or “best hospital”
- Suggesting the honor is an accreditation (such as CBAHI, JCI or Magnet) or a ministry endorsement
- Applying the honor to the whole hospital instead of the named project
